MORAL OF THE STORY: TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. GO TO THE APPLETON BIKE SHOP FOR BETTER SERVICE AND A CHEAPER PRICE!
There cannot be a shop that has nicer people working at it, they sell good quality products and it was a good experience. Also, I checked their prices versus online and they are very competitive
The restaurant atmosphere was very nice. But the menu selection was very limited. My friend wanted ice and there wasn't any. She wanted ketsup and there was none. A bit high priced.
Stopped at the Cafe for breakfast this morning. Food was awesome! Would highly recommend!
Absolutely the best shop I have dealt with in my 30 years of riding. They ride so they understand. The shop staff is great (yep...looking at you Matt and TK!). They have a good selection and are willing to work with novices to experienced riders. I drive an hour and a half to deal with them.
This is not the bike shop to go to if you are looking to get into the sport and need education on a bike and what would best fit your needs. The staff doesn't want you to get a good bike they you like, they want your commission. It seemed like every staff member was too busy to help me, and the associate helping me. They only had two computers and the associates wouldn't allow the nice young guy who was helping me on the computer to ring me up, or get additional information on my bike. After some time a computer freed up and he was able to get my bike rang up for assembly, which at first I was told would only take an hour. After an hour I called and they informed me that it would actually be another day before I could pick it up. So I waited a day and yet again I HAD TO call to get an update on the service of my bike. When I called the man I spoke to had no clue what I was talking about and couldn't see that there was even a request for service put in for me on my bike. He promised to call me back within a few minutes after he figured out what was wrong. After an hour I called back and the man that answered the phone informed me that the man who promised to "help" me was busy with another customer. Talk about service! I cared more about my bike than they did! In frustration I called Appleton Bike Shop, and not only did they assure me that my bike would be ready within an hour (which is was) it was 50 dollars cheaper as well.
